What We Need:
To facilitate and accelerate the aggressive growth that RCA is experiencing we are seeking a Director of Operations that will be responsible for the oversight of all environmental services, including maintenance, housekeeping, dietary, security, drivers, reception etc. This person will ensure that policies supporting regulatory agency standards are followed and that crises are properly managed. The DO will make timely decisions that directly impact patient care; and will ensure that the RCA facility meets 5-star quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversees facility services including maintenance, dietary, housekeeping, security, transportation, and reception functions.
• Demonstrates judgment and self-sufficiency in effective problem solving while serving as the administrative and operational resource for the facility.
• Intervenes in situations involving patients, visitors, hospital staff and other external customers when safety, comfort, or cleanliness is potentially compromised
• Makes necessary space, equipment, supplies and support systems available to ensure effective functioning of all departments.
• Obtains and utilizes accurate facts and data to identify and intervene in actual and/or potential safety and comfort issues.
• Represents the facility at conferences and other external events on behalf of the CEO.
• Keep abreast of economic conditions/situations and makes recommendations to the CEO regarding the operation of the facility.
• Manages operations and project budgets of varying fund types. Ensures that funds are expended appropriately and effectively in fulfillment of facility goals.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree required in a clinical or business related field.
• Five years’ operations experience preferably gained within a healthcare environment.
• A customer-focused view as it relates to clinical operations.
• Exceptional ethical and moral values.
• Strong communication and influence skills. The ability to inspire confidence and work successfully with varied audiences. The ideal candidate will be a good presenter who can serve as an ambassador for the facility.
• Dynamic and enthusiastic personality
