BCCS is currently seeking a CLINICAL PROGRAM MANAGER to provide clinical supervision to the Project Engage staff. This position requires adherence to all BCCS and Christiana Care Health Systems (CCHS) policies and procedures. As a Clinical Program Manager for Project Engage staff, this individual guides, monitors and assists Engagement Specialists in providing optimal therapeutic care and support services for all clients served by this project.

• Supervision practices and principles including providing interactional, ethically sound, high level skills building, and quality clinical supervision to staff.
• Evaluation and direction over each Specialist’s clinical practice
• Promotion of continued development of the Specialist’s knowledge, skills, and ability to engage with clients in an ethical and highly competent manner
• Education on Self-Awareness with the goal of increasing Specialist’s awareness of counter-transference, boundary considerations, ethical concerns, and potential Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma.
• Crisis intervention - Responds to urgent or emergency situations in a way that minimizes trauma to the client and staff members and results in stabilization.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and staff.
• Effective clinical supervision and client engagement skills
• Mental health treatment, principles, standards and best practices
• Conveys expertise on substance abuse treatment and social services facilities and admission criteria

Working Conditions:
• Primary office setting with be at CCHS; expected to travel between Christiana (Newark and Wilmington locations) Hospital
• Requirement to work one weekend and one evening per month

Qualifications

*cultural competence, ethical standards, current EBPs, crisis intervention, engagement and clinical relationship building, trauma and trauma informed care, co-occurring disorders, recovery planning, and review of all relevant documentation

• Drug and Alcohol Treatment principles, standards and best practices
• Methadone Maintenance treatment principles, standards and best practices
• Community Resources
• Performance Evaluation

Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree form an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or a related field of study and six (6) years of clinical experience in supervising drug treatment required of which two (2) years are spent providing direct supervision to peer specialists.
• CADC required
• LCSW, CCDP and LPC preferred
• Obtain training in relevant EBP
