Summary of Position
The Program Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the site and overall responsibility for administrative operations of site. Ensures site operates in most effective and efficient manner, with emphasis on facility upkeep and maintenance, and safety and welfare of employees. Works to enhance a positive group culture and maintain positive employee morale. It is also the responsibility of this position to model and maintain high professional conduct and standards among all site staff and consultants.
Drug and alcohol treatment clinical practices as they relate to BCCS services
Methadone services and practices
Plans, develops, administers and evaluates programs
Responds to urgent or emergency situations in a way that minimizes trauma to the client and staff members and results in stabilization
Job-Specific Performance Standards
Provides direction to, supervise and evaluate via daily observation and annual performance reviews site staff, assists Clinical Supervisors in hiring, and terminating staff.
Ensures that staff is oriented on building policies, safety training, and compliance with safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Treatment.
Complies with all BCCS policies and procedures and ensure that all staff follow them as well.
Seeks ways to improve overall efficiency of site with goal of reducing overhead expenses wherever possible
Seeks to continuously improve client satisfaction and follows up appropriately in a timely manner on client issues and/or complaints.
Takes initiative in identifying and solving problems.
Provides staff leadership towards achieving site and group goals.
Conducts staff meetings.
Seeks input from staff and provides feedback to the Director of Treatment.
Participates in BCCS subcommittees, committees and meetings.
Provides facility upkeep, appearance, maintenance, and security.
REQUIRED: Master’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services and related field.
PREFERRED: PhD in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services and related field.
REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a treatment capacity.
PREFERRED: CADC, CCDP, LPC, or LCSW
