Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist with BCCS, you will:
• Maintain appropriate written records and SMART
• Participate in BCCS subcommittees, committees and meetings
• Treat clients using individual, group, and/or family counseling and education
• Confer with Clinical Supervisor, and/or Program Manager
• Evaluates assigned clients and formulates treatment plan goals in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor and/or Program Manager.
• has contact with clients aimed at providing quality, sufficient and appropriate clinical care and linkage services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral science, or related field, with a minimum of five years’ experience as a therapist
• current license to practice in Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (or working toward licensure) or Licensed Professional Counselor
• Competency in providing cognitive and behavioral interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups with behavioral health/substance abuse problems in a primary care setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with primary care staff, patients and other behavioral health clinicians.
