The Perinatal Supervisor is primarily responsible for oversight of the Perinatal program, which includes supervision of the perinatal case managers and the duties of the perinatal program. Duties include participating in assessment, evaluation, planning, linkages, monitoring, advocacy and treatment of assigned clients. The Perinatal Supervisor will ensure the program provides an array of clinical and support services to substance abusing women, including case management services, access to resources, connections to medical/psychiatric care, transportation to medical appointments, coordination of care with DFS or other agencies. The Perinatal Supervisor will also ensure the program is meeting all performance measures and outcomes, including percent of infants born substance-free, client’s compliance with pre/postnatal care, and participation in treatment. The Perinatal Supervisor is responsible for providing quality, sufficient and appropriate services and for maintaining high professional standards.

REQUIRED: BS/BA in Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Social Work or related field
PREFERRED: CADC, LPC, or LCSW
REQUIRED: At least one year of supervisory experience and three years of alcohol and drug experience.
PREFERRED: Working knowledge of available community resources
This is a full time position that will oversee the Perinatal Case Management Program in all three counties. Offices are located in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, and Milford. Hours of operation will primarily be 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, however the Perinatal Program staff are expected to complete home visits and other community activities and therefore may be required to adjust hours as needed to meet program requirements.
