Resources for Human Development ICM team provides non-traditional community based mental health treatment to promote the recovery and community integration of adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders living in Sussex and Southern Kent Counties to reduce use of ERs and inpatient hospital stays. The Recovery Coach, who is an integral part of the mulit-disciplinary team, self-identifies as an individual with an addiction who is currently or formerly a recipient of addiction services. This is a field-based position and requires at least 75% of services to be provided to participants in their homes, shelters, places of employment, vocational and education settings and other community settings.

• Must self-identify as an individual with an addiction who is currently or formerly a recipient of addiction services. As a peer in recovery from addiction and/or co-occurring serious mental illness and substance abuse the peer must be willing to utilize recovery experience to engage and support consumers;
• Strong knowledge of wellness, recovery and self-help;
• Ability to work effectively with diverse team and remain highly organized and self-motivated
• Proficient in computers
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance
